The galvanic process is the last step in the creation of a jewel.
The item is immersed in a galvanic bath, i.e. an aqueous solution of metal salts with two electrodes: the cathode, consisting of the metal object to be galvanized and the anode, which may be made of graphite, inert metal or of the same metal that will cover the immersed object. Thanks to a generator, the bath is crossed by electricity that depositparticles of metallic material (gold, silver, copper, etc.) on the object to be treated.
The result is a very thin layer that covers the jewels protecting them from corrosion or scratches, and ensuring brightness and uniformity of the surface.
Thanks to the galvanic finish it is possible to decorate and embellish different materials with coatings such as gold, silver, palladium, copper using the different colors of metals.

CLEANING

What we call “pulimentatura” is a special professional cleaning treatment of metal surfaces to make them suitable for subsequent processes or for aesthetic finishing (roughing and polishing).
Performed by our operators through specific equipment such as brushes, discs, sandblasters, wooden or ceramic tumblers, this treatment ensures that the objects are uniform and free of imperfections, ready to be then finished with different galvanic finishesor decorations.Most cleaning processes are carried out manually by TRETTRE, to guarantee precision and quality of the finished product.
GLAZING

TRETTRE carries out professional glazing using a cold technique, on silver, steel and bronze. The metal surfaces are decorated with colored epoxy enamels, mixed with their hardener and dried at 70°C; this way a resistant and glossy decoration is obtained.
The enamels, made for in-house finishes or for third parties, are available in a wide range of colors.
CNC LASER

MICRO-FUSION

For the production of jewels, today special cylindrical ovens and melting furnaces are used: this limits the porosity in the metals, so as to obtain the highest quality on the finished product.
Our technology is able to produce both small and large quantities of objects cast in silver, brass and bronze at high quality and speed.
SHEARING

Through shearing, metal elements are obtained from a plate through the use of a die and a punch. The pieces made with this technique have lower costs, the processing itself is very rapid and the quality standard is fully respected.

LASER WELDING

LASER WELDING can support or replace traditional flame welding. Main features are precision, high speed of execution and minimum heat input, while ensuring aesthetic quality of the welding and high mechanical strength. The jewels so welded are devoid of dissimilarities or obvious points of joint between the parts.
